All calls to Lutheran Counseling Center go directly to our main office.  We will do a "phone intake" which means you will be asked general questions and given information about our charges, insurance, and other policies.  We will also ask what issues or concerns you need help with in order to match your need to the skills of one of our therapists.  However, if you have been referred to a specific therapist by someone, we will automatically arrange for you to see that person as long as there is an available time slot.

 

When you call, please be ready to ask any questions you may have about the counseling process. 

 

Your first appointment will be set either by our office staff or your counselor.

  

Please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes earlier than your appointment time in order to complete the necessary paperwork.  Bring your insurance card or a copy of the front and back with you along with any other pertinent insurance information.

 

Your counselor will evaluate your situation during the first few sessions to be sure that Lutheran Counseling Center can adequately address your needs.
