Lutheran Counseling Center offers a 2 ½ hour workshop facilitated by two licensed mental health therapists to teach young participants how to recognize when someone they love might be suicidal. The workshop also provides necessary training in ways to get them to temporary safety and the help they need.

In order to set up this workshop for your school, church or agency staff members or students, call LCC at 1-800-317-1173. Because of the content of this workshop, each workshop is limited to no more than 25 participants per group.

A generous grant from St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Mission Fund, Huntington Station, NY, covers all costs of these training workshops for youth groups in the metropolitan New York and surrounding areas.
