Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, by God’s grace, is a praying community of service that receives, teaches, celebrates and shares Christ Jesus.  The Rev. Dr. Dien A. Taylor, first vice president of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) Atlantic District, is the dynamic, multi-talented pastor. Lutheran Counseling Center is privileged to be a partner in ministry with this active, Christ serving congregation in many different ways over the years. The congregation’s commitment to mental health wellness is exemplified through their community service, usage of LCC’s programs, and partnership in the receipt of recent grants.

Jessica Raba, Principal of LuHi.

Mrs. Jessica Raba is currently the High School Principal of LuHi (Long Island Lutheran Middle & High School) in Brookville, NY, where she has served in that capacity since 2018. She was the Director of Teaching and Learning there from 2017 to 2018. Before coming to LuHi, Jessica served as the Executive Director of Lutheran Schools Association from 2013 to 2017. She has partnered with LCC in many different ways over the years while in all of these roles. Her dedicated commitment to ensure excellence in Lutheran school education and compassionate, educated leaders for the future is commendable.

Stuart Cameron, Acting Commissioner of the
Suffolk County Police Department

Acting Commissioner Stuart Cameron is a 36 year veteran of the Suffolk County Police Department and has served as Chief of the Department for the past six years.  Cameron is actively involved in community police programs and has undertaken the task of teaching himself Spanish to address and relate to the large Latino presence in Suffolk County. Having served on the County Executive’s Committee to reform and reinvent the SCPD, he is in the process of implementing these reforms. 

Commissioner Cameron has improved holistic officer welfare within the department through a variety of methods, including the expanded use of police chaplains to provide support, guidance and comfort to members of their department and their families in time of need; implementing peer teams and the department’s Employee Assistance Section. He is a proponent of mental health wellness both in the SCPD as well as in the community he serves.
